Adoption

In March of 2010, we were approved for “pulling rights” at Greeneville’s Animal Control Facility. After a lengthy process and final approval by the County Commissioners, our goal to reduce the number of dogs/cats euthanized at the facility began.

Since then we have saved many lives and have now partnered with a rescue in New England to save even more lives. There are many more wonderful homes available up north and very few highly adoptable dogs in northern shelters due to spay/neuter laws and licensing fees.

We post our dogs on a northern site, adopters complete our application, go through our screening process and are approved – or declined as necessary.

We use Alpha Dog Transport to take our dogs to their forever homes.

Adoption fees start at $200 and transport to one of several northern pick-up points is $125.00. Dogs are spayed or neutered – if at least 5-6 months of age. If you adopt a puppy, a spay/neuter contract will be required. We stand behind our dogs and if you are not pleased, we take them back!

Can’t adopt? Then won’t you please sponsor one of our dogs waiting in foster care for their forever home? Any amount is greatly appreciated. See the “donate button” on our home page.
